Contestants Compete in the following areas:
Interview:
The Personal interview competition is the Delegate’s best opportunity to allow the judges to get to know them personally and intimately. Each Delegate will be interviewed individually and will have to answer questions on various topics. They can talk about themselves, current events, social issues, and personalities that affect today’s world. Judges will be looking for articulate, well-spoken, and confident ladies. The personal interview competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.
Fashion:
The fashion wear competition should reflect the personal style of the delegate. The delegate should take this opportunity to choose a truly their outfit. Contestants should look to project their style, age, and personality on stage. This segment will be very much like a runway show. The fashion wear competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.

Evening Gown:
One word should describe the evening wear competition – Elegance. The evening wear competition allows contestants to show their style, poise, and confidence. The personal interview competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.e

The Texas Regency Pageant will be in Houston, TX, on April 26 and 27, 2025.

Our state competition has four main categories: Interview, Photogenic, Fun Fashion, and Evening Gown. Once your entry deposit is received, you will be invited to our 2025 Texas Regency International Contestant’s Group on Facebook, where we have a detailed handbook that will guide you through preparing for both the state and international levels of competition.
The prize package for our current Texas State Queens includes a custom state crown with rhinestones and sapphires, a custom satin sash, a custom rhinestone crown pin, an International entry fee paid, a custom bathrobe, a Queen’s sendoff luncheon, and many other prizes that are awarded throughout your reign. The total prize package is valued at over $1200.00!
