People often think the best part about pageants is the crown. Now, do not get me wrong—crowns are pretty awesome! But they are not actually my favourite thing. ✨

My favourite part has always been making friends and connecting with my teammates.

Friendships and Sister Queens 💜

I have met so many amazing people through pageantry, in both glitz and miss styles. So many of them have become not only my role models, but also my friends.

There is something really special about sharing the pageant experience with people who understand the excitement, nerves, preparation, and joy that come with stepping onto the stage.

Giving Back Through Community Service

I also love getting involved in community service and supporting causes that I care about and feel passionate about.

Pageantry gives us opportunities to help others, support important causes, and make a positive difference in our communities.

Growing With Every Pageant

Every pageant gives me something to work toward or improve on.

For the past two years, my goal has been to work on my public speaking. I chose to speak about something very personal to me, and even though it was difficult, I set my goal and achieved what I needed to.

That is one of the best things about pageantry—it encourages you to keep growing.

The Gowns, the Sparkle, and the Stage ✨

Have I mentioned the gowns yet?

Oh, my days! The gowns always bring next-level excitement. The colours, the silhouettes, the sequins, and the rhinestones bring me so much joy.

I cannot wait to step on stage this year in my evening gown and stand side by side with my sister queens.

Everything About It Is Amazing

You know what? There are just too many things to list.

I guess to summarise, there is no single “best part” of pageantry—because everything about it is amazing!

For me, pageantry is friendship, confidence, community, growth, sparkle, and unforgettable memories. 👑💜
